Spider solitaire is a well known desktop solitaire from another operating system. This game implements SINGLE-SUIT SPIDER and two suit RED-BLACK SPIDER solitaire (see screenshot). Four suit spider almost never can be won, so better play REASON FOR DIVORCE instead, which is a better way to play of 4 suit spider. Four suit BLACK WIDOW will be included in the next upgrade.
The twist on all spider games is that you can only drop a complete series of cards A..K in ONE GO, when completed, to the foundations. Also spider games build in suit descending and allow groups of same suit cards to be moved between cascades.
One exception is that Spider allows single cards to be played on any other suit in descending order (to move them out of the way), but this descending series cannot be moved around, because it is not in suit. This rule can be disabled by switching on “Mixed suit dragging” (BLACK WIDOW rule) to make things a lot easier.
Good Luck!
